2022 Harvest

First frost damage in May then birds, birds and more birds - 2022 was a doozy!

Our vineyard site is particularly susceptible to late-season frost damage. Our high elevation exaggerates overnight temperature swings and our wind machines can struggle to keep up. We lost about 25% of our fruit clusters to the frost and then had heavy bird activity once veraison set in. Fortunately the fruit that survived was superb!
